Jason DeFord, better known as Jelly Roll, and Alyssa DeFord, popularly known as Bunnie XO, are one of the music industry's most admired power couples. Throughout their relationship, they have been each other's biggest supporters, often speaking openly and affectionately about the love and trust they share. Together, they have weathered personal struggles, public scrutiny, and the pressures that come with fame, emerging stronger with each challenge. 

However, reports that Bunnie XO had filed for divorce from Jelly Roll nearly a decade into their marriage came as a shock to fans. Here's a look back at their 10-year relationship and the journey that defined it.

Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO first met in 2015 at one of the singer's concerts in Las Vegas, where he was opening for Moonshine Bandits. Their connection was instant, as Bunny mentioned in her memoir, Stripped Down. She was mesmerized by Jelly Roll. 

Soon after they met, Jelly Rose invited Bunnie to join him on tour, which was the beginning of their whirlwind romance. Despite both carrying difficult pasts, they quickly grew close and supported each other through life's challenges. In 2016, during another Las Vegas show, Jelly Roll surprised Bunnie with an impromptu proposal, asking if she would marry him. The couple exchanged vows at a Las Vegas wedding chapel just hours later. 

In 2023, the singer credited his wife as his biggest supporter. While Jelly Roll began to gain fame and recognition in 2020, Bunny also began her own podcast, Dumb Blonde. She had helped him with getting the custody of his daughter back from another relationship. 

“I’ll never forget, Bunnie looked at me and, man it makes me emotional, she said, ‘No matter what happens with us, I’m gonna help you get this little girl,’” Jelly recalled on Bussin' With The Boys. “And I was like, man, what character… Because dude, I’m broke. I can’t afford the lawyer, I can’t afford anything. What am I gonna do, put the kid in a van? And Bunnie’s like, ‘I’ll help you.’”

Years later, in 2023, they returned to the same chapel to renew their vows. But their life after marriage was not without ups and downs.

Jelly Roll and Bunny XO’s personal hardships tested their relationship. They even broke for a brief time in 2018. However, the two worked through it and started counseling, which helped them get back together. 

The two raised Jelly Roll’s kids, Bailee and Noah, from his other relationship. And later, they tried to have their own kids. Bunny XO even underwent the IVF process, which she called the most difficult phase of her life.

Their marriage also endured infidelity and much more. But the two continued to support and love each other. Their shocking divorce comes as a huge shock after 10 years of struggles and love.
