Taylor Swift Is ‘Exhausted’ and Looking to Step Back From Work Ahead of Wedding Plans

Taylor Swift has had a year that would exhaust most people by spring. Grammys were won, love was announced, and an engagement appeared on Instagram, where modern romance now goes to become official. Kelce proposed amid flowers and microphones, proving that even fairy tales occasionally require good lighting.

Good lighting seems to be only one of the many unique components of Taylor Swift's fairytale, as a professional break seems to be another.

Taylor Swift hints at taking a professional break

This has been a demanding year for Taylor Swift, who released her 12th studio album, 'The Life of a Showgirl', back in October. Now, after a hectic schedule, the singer could be taking a professional break while planning her wedding.

 "She's ready for a professional break so she can focus on the wedding. She's very excited about planning the wedding," an exclusive source told People.

This potential break, as reported by PEOPLE, would be a well-deserved one for Taylor Swift who has been juggling album promotion, the Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl release, and her personal life with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. The rumored break will not only come bring to halt the extensive promotions of her latest album, but also her docuseries.

Taylor Swift’s docuseries Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour | The End of an Era shares the behind-the-scenes at her record-breaking Eras Tour. The six-episode series is already giving fans plenty to talk about. The first two episodes dropped on December 12. These episodes took fans through her final show in Vancouver on December 8, 2024. 

The episodes will be dropping at intervals with episodes 3 and 4 scheduled for December 19, and episodes 5 and 6 dropping on December 26.

Having surprised her audiences with an album and further having kept them busy with not just date night and NFL stadium looks, but also a whole engagement, Taylor Swift much like every year has done it all and for  Swifties who have been keeping track, a break does not seem out of the books. Moreover, if the track record is anything to go by, it almost always results in a masterclass.
