Taylor Swift has once again set a new streaming record on Spotify. The singer is well known for breaking and setting new records throughout her career with hit music and successful albums. Swift was the youngest artist to win Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards. Moreover, she is also the first and only artist to win the Grammy for Album of the Year four times. She is one of the artists with the highest number of American Music Awards (AMA) wins.
And it is safe to say that Swift has enjoyed similar success commercially as well.

Taylor Swift’s 'The Tortured Poets Department' has reached the milestone of 10 billion streams on Spotify. That said, the singer now has multiple albums to her name that have crossed 10 billion streams. This achievement makes Swift the first artist to have 6 different albums surpassing 10 billion streams each.
'The Tortured Poets Department' was the best-selling album globally in 2024 and has continued to break new records even now. Leading the precious 6 album line-up is 'Lover', still reigning as her most-streamed album with over 14.5 billion plays on Spotify. Close behind are 'Midnights' (12.1 billion), 'folklore' (11.8 billion), 'Reputation' (11 billion), and '1989' (10.6 billion).
This massive streaming success comes as the singer was recently honored at the Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
Taylor Swift gets inducted into Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction ceremony
Taylor Swift was honored at the Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction ceremony. She spoke about the honor and reflected on her career. She also recalled the sacrifices her parents and siblings made to support her dreams and career. She became emotional while expressing her gratitude to her family.
“After making obvious that this was not even remotely a temporary phase their teen daughter was going through, they uprooted their entire lives to move me to Music City. And even though words are supposed to kind of be my thing, I will never be able to express my gratitude to you guys for doing that for me," she said during her acceptance speech.

Now, once again, Taylor Swift set a new record. She is the second-youngest artist ever to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, while the record holder is Stevie Wonder. Both the Spotify success and Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction are less a surprise and more a confirmation of Swift's impact and contribution in the music industry.
