Now, it seems they are planning something big and special for their wedding.

There was immense chatter about a destination wedding or Swift getting married in her Rhode Island estate. But the pair appear to have set their sights on New York City instead. With speculation about their wedding location making the rounds, there is another update on their big day.

Earlier, there were rumors that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce could tie the knot in July, just before the NFL star heads to training camp. Now, new reports from Page Six suggest the couple has planned July 3 as their big day. It also comes before Swift’s favorite holiday, which is July Fourth.

The couple also has special plans for the wedding location, which is now set to be in New York. With that, the couple will be among the several celebrity couples who got married in New York. Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey and Tommy Mottola, as well as Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick got married in this city. 

Both Swift and Kelce have also expressed their love for New York, with Swift even writing a song titled 'Welcome to New York'. Preferences aside, the singer also owns property in the Big Apple making the city a natural choice for both her and her fiancé.

With the date and venue seemingly confirmed, Swift and Kelce are likely immersed in working out other details of their big day, with atleast music already taken care of.

Planning a wedding is never easy, but Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce seem to have one part figured out. And that is their wedding music. During an episode of New Heights, he was asked by his guest, Jimmy Fallon, about the wedding playlist. To this, Kelce shared that they already know what they want.

“Yeah, I think we’re live music kind of people, you know?”

With July drawing closer, Swift and Kelce are likely in the final stages of their wedding preparations. Even the guests remain unaware of their preparations. But if the rumors are true about the date and venue, a New York wedding will draw A-list guests, turning it into a star-studded evening.
