SZA, Doechii, and Sadhguru Join Many for a Conscious Music Circle Jam in Los Angeles

Los Angeles has always been a city where music and culture collide unexpectedly, but few gatherings have blended R&B royalty with ancient spiritual wisdom quite like this one. Following SZA's widely covered visit to India's Isha Yoga Centre for Mahashivratri 2026, the Grammy winner brought that energy stateside. The evening brought together some of the most compelling voices in contemporary music for something far removed from a typical industry event.
WhileLos Angeles has seen countless star-studded nights, this one traded velvet ropes for vibrations, and the lineup was anything but ordinary.

Lizzo hosted the Conscious Music Circle jam session in Los Angeles, and the guest list alone signaled this was no ordinary night. SZA, Doechii, Baby Rose, James Fauntleroy, and UMI all joined in. Sadhguru opened the evening with a talk and Q&A. The event was structured as a collaborative jam, not a concert, with Lizzo on flute and SZA on vocals, creating what attendees described as a spontaneous, high-vibrational soundscape.
Building on that energy, the session reflects SZA's ongoing spiritual connection with the Isha Foundation, rooted in January 2025. That year, after completing the week-long silent Samyama program, she visited Sadhguru Gurukulam Samskriti, where students performed Kadanakuthuhalam Thillana alongside martial arts. She immediately sent the audio to her production team to sample. She returned in February 2026 for Mahashivratri, wearing a yellow saree and leading thousands in the "Shiv Shambhu" chant, the trip that directly preceded the Los Angeles circle.
As SZA bridges ancient Indian traditions with contemporary R&B, her creative slate is quietly expanding in directions few saw coming.
SZA's upcoming projects signal a full transition era
Beyond the spiritual sphere, SZA is navigating one of her busiest creative stretches yet. Her 'SOS Deluxe: Lana,' a 19-track project released in late 2024, featured 'Saturn,' 'BMF,' and '30 for 30' with Kendrick Lamar. She has since confirmed new studio material is in progress. She is also contributing to the soundtrack of Pixar's upcoming animated film Hoppers, releasing in 2026, marking her first major animated project.

Her acting career is equally in motion. One of Them Days, her buddy comedy debut alongside Keke Palmer, grossed over $50 million and earned her Breakthrough Performance nominations at both the Black Reel Awards and Independent Spirit Awards in early 2026. A sequel is already in early development. With no new solo tour dates announced, SZA appears focused on studio work and screen projects, while the Conscious Music Circle signals she is also carving out a genuinely spiritual creative identity.
