The legendary rapper Kanye West celebrates another milestone as his celebrated album 'Graduation' sells 500 units for the year 2023.

“Real king of rap” – Fans Shower Praise as Kanye West’s Graduation Reaches a Huge Milestone in 2023

Kanye West [https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/kanye-west] released ‘Graduation’
in 2007, which became famous for its feud with 50 Cent. Surprisingly, the album
also predicted future trends, like Autotuned voices, EDM, and arena rock
influences, which would shape the hip-hop genre in the following decade. It
featured 13 carefully selected tracks that delved into the rapper’s inner
relationships with fame, his father, his hometown Chicago, and his mentor Jay-Z.
Furthermore, the Takashi Murakami cover of the album was West’s initial venture
into experimental art. Even after 16 years, it is still a source of fascination.

RapTV recently announced that the ‘Donda’ singer’s album ‘Graduation’ sold 500k
units in 2023. The bestselling album also features some of his famous singles,
such as ‘Can’t Tell Me Nothing’ and ‘Stronger.’ The latter is one of his biggest
hits and highest-selling songs. It featured collaborations with Lil Wayne, Chris
Martin, Dwele, T-Pain, and more artists. Because of its dramatic musical shift,
the 2007 album significantly raised Kanye West’s prominence.

The Chicago-based singer’s album is also famous for its highly publicized feud
with 50 Cent’s album ‘Curtis’. The release of both albums at the same time
created a great advertising situation for both artists. Despite being a newer
and lesser-known performer, Kanye was already seen as an underdog when he was
competing with 50 Cent, who ruled the charts at the time. But to everybody’s
surprise, ‘Graduation’ triumphed over ‘Curtis’ with West selling over half a
million copies on its very first day.

hip-hop, influencing future generations. So, selling 500k units of the beloved
album does not come as a surprise to the fans. His fans expressed their
excitement over this recent announcement.
