Three years after 'Guts,' Olivia Rodrigo has returned with her third studio album, 'You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love.' The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter appears to have picked up right where she left off, with fans embracing her latest musical era from day one. Rodrigo further hyped her fans by announcing one of her biggest international tours this year.

While fans continue to shower their love and support on her new album, it has helped the singer extend her previous record of No. 1 albums.

Olivia Rodrigo’s 'You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love' is her third consecutive album to have debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. The album opened with 485,000 equivalent album units. Boosted by 15 physical versions, the album also sold 164,000 vinyl copies.

This is Rodrigo's strongest debut to date and the biggest opening week by a solo artist in 2026. Her previous two albums, 'Sour' and 'Guts,' recorded 295,000 and 302,000 equivalent album units, respectively, to enter the chart. The album's success was hinted at well before its release, as its lead single, ‘Drop Dead,’ debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. 

Its second single, 'The Cure,' also showed brilliant performance, peaking at No. 5. As the album continues to enjoy massive success, Rodrigo has opened up about the inspirations behind it. She explained that her time in London and even a scene from S** and the City also inspired one of her songs from the album.

With another major record, the Grammy-winning singer has plenty to celebrate before stepping out on her upcoming Unraveled tour.

Olivia Rodrigo has announced The Unraveled Tour in support of her third album, 'You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love.' The tour includes 65 shows across North America, Europe, and the UK. This is one of her biggest International tours.

She will begin the tour on September 25 at the PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford, Connecticut. The tour will stop in cities including Chicago, Atlanta, Nashville, Las Vegas, Paris, Milan, and Stockholm. Rodrigo is also bringing back her Silver Star Tickets program, which offers a limited number of $20 tickets to fans.

The program was to ensure that more fans get to attend the shows. The tickets will be available later, must be bought in pairs, and are limited to two per order. It is a good time to be a Rodrigo fan.
