In a recent episode of Stationhead, Zayn Malik graced the radio broadcaster to promote his upcoming album, 'Room Under The Stairs', which has already sent fans into a frenzy. Apart from sharing insights on which artists he would like to collaborate with and revealing plans for a concert tour, the 31-year-old also opened up about his time with One Direction. He shared with his fans that he had been listening to the band's music and "reminiscing" about the "good times" the former band had together.

While that was enough to bring some of Malik's older fans to tears, the British-Pakistani added, "We made some good music, man." before admitting that the band had been "pretty good" in the 2010s. After years of no mentions of One Direction, the 'PILLOWTALK' artist seems to be recalling what brought him the stardom that he now has. After all, it was the star's loyal fans from his boy-band days that stuck around through his silent years.

During the same streaming episode on Stationhead, Zayn Malik surprised fans when he put on a classic One Direction fan favorite, 'You and I'. Although it had only happened because fans had been begging the singer for some throwbacks, it was a moment that made the hair stand on the arms of die-hard Directioners. Before he put it on, the 31-year-old could be heard saying, "Here you go everybody, here it is."

The song had initially come out in 2014, just a year before Malik took a leave of absence from the boy band. With the father finally ready to look back on the past and even give his fans what they want, some are hoping that it could mean that a One Direction reunion could be on the cards at some point in time. However, at the moment, the star seems content with his upcoming album, 'Room Under The Stairs', which will drop on May 17th.
