PinkPantheress is no stranger to turning heads. After her song 'Illegal' went viral on TikTok last year, her song 'Stateside' is now gaining traction, fueled in part by Alysa Liu’s viral performance on the track. This April, which also happens to be the 'Boy’s a Liar' singer’s birthday month, she made a powerful and high-energy debut at Coachella.

And it seems her female fans are also following in her footsteps as they share yet another viral-worthy makeover with red tartans to show support for the singer.

PinkPantheress celebrated her 25th birthday on April 19 with a star-studded set for the Coachella crowd. A group of six girls who appeared to be her fans also had a playful and creative tribute to the singer. They arrived at the event dressed in matching outfits with tartan-print, which is worn by PinkPantheress, and honey blonde wigs styled with the singer's signature bangs. This quickly caught attention, turning into a viral moment on social media.

This moment of PinkPantheress’ lookalikes at Coachella quickly took over the internet. For the event, which coincided with her birthday, PinkPantheress went all out, bringing in Zara Larsson, Australian DJ Ninajirachi, and Janelle Monáe to join her. Tyriq Withers, Chase Infiniti, Manon Bannerman from KATSEYE, and Slayyyter also joined her on stage.

During 'Illegal' PinkPantheress and Withers also had a heartwarming moment, dancing together. The moment took a heartfelt turn when Withers paused to wish her a happy birthday and handed her a rose. The duo then warmly hugged each other before walking off stage hand in hand.

Not just PinkPantheress and her fans, there were other surprising, head-turning moments at Coachella as well, including the KATSEYE and KPop Demon Hunters crossover.

For the Coachella Festival 2026, only five of the six members of KATSEYE took the stage, as Manon is currently on hiatus. However, the biggest surprise came when members of HUNTR/X joined KATSEYE on stage. The unexpected and surprising girl group crossover saw the crowd erupt in cheers. 

EJAE, Rei Ami, and Audrey Nuna performed the Grammy-winning track 'Golden,' sending the crowd into a frenzy. KATSEYE also performed their songs 'Pinky Up,' 'Debut,' 'Touch,' along with several of their other songs. The group is currently promoting their new single 'Pinky Up.' If this unexpected crossover and the PinkPantheress fan moment, is anything to go by, Coachella still has plenty more exciting surprises in store.
