Months After Facetiming Kanye West’s Son, English Soccer Star Bukayo Saka Invites Mixed Reaction for His Comment on the Infamous Rapper

Kim Kardashian has carried the tag of being Hollywood’s coolest mom for a while. Not only does she walk the red carpets alongside her kids in luxury fashion, but also indulges in all their hobbies and activities. Following the divorce from Kanye West, the two decently split their time and enjoy separate vacations with their four children. On one such holiday back in March, her second oldest child got the celebrity treatment. The duo was on an English football tour, where legendary stars like David Beckham and Lionel Messi greeted the 7-year-old football fanatic.

That was not the only gift Saint West got as an ardent football fan. English player Bukayo Saka personally FaceTimed the kid too. And just months following that warm gesture, Saka recently came under the social media light for his comments about Ye.

Saka has made headlines for being one of the best youngest payers in the world. Currently aged 21, the young English mid-fielder and full-back player made his debut with Arsenal. Months after delighting Saint West on his football holiday tour, the player came in the news for Ye again. This time, it was him wishing for a Ye’s feature interview in the magazine. In an interview with France Football, the Arsenal player was asked what should be the next three interviews in the magazine. Saka quickly chimed in, listing his three favorites, “Will Smith. Lionel Messi. And… Kanye West!”

It is no surprise that the 21-year-old is a big Ye fan. Saka stated the reason, saying, “I like people who think differently to others.” Despite the controversies, the 46-year-old rapper has a good fan following around the globe. He has been reigning as one of the greatest rappers and singer-songwriter of the current generation.

Though Saka candidly clubbed all his three favorites – movies, music, and football, the list garnered quite some attention on Twitter. Following the news, the fans had some mixed reactions.

Kanye West again divides the internet

The crowd was divided on the inclusion of the Ye on the list. Though the netizens seemed to understand the reason behind the football and film GOATS, they were split on the ‘Donda’ singer. The Yeezy owner’s fans united in the front, calling Saka a man with taste. They were even delighted to know he liked Ye, adding their favorite Arsenal player to their fandom. But others were not very sure. They did not fathom the “think differently to others” comment, owing to the controversial uproar that Ye’s comments had in the recent past.

The Saka fans defended him against the uproar.

The last year’s anti-Semitic comments also resurfaced on Twitter.
