The entire town is buzzing about the musical resurgence of Kanye West, which is set to delight everyone’s ears. For months, the reports about West’s upcoming collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign have been doing the rounds. It all started during Ye’s stay in Italy, which apparently was the backdrop for his artistic process in cooking up a creative masterpiece. However, it seems like the album is on the brink of release, and could hit the airwaves at any moment.

Apart from Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign, another creative genius has also been in the speculations for his association with the album. Metro Boomin, the American record producer, is no stranger to teaming up with rap legends. Amidst the buzz of Ye’s upcoming album, Metro Boomin has been dropping a lot of subtle hints about his involvement in the project through tweets and stories. However, very recently, he deleted one of the tweets that triggered speculation about the album’s cancellation.

The 30-year-old record executive has collaborated with the ‘Donda’ singer in the past as well. Both artists worked together on songs like ‘Father Stretch My Hands’ and ‘I Won’. Given the artistic synergy between both the creators, fans were over the moon with excitement and anticipation of the album. However, this recent move by the ‘Jumpman’ creator cast a shadow over their enthusiasm.

Netizens took to X, formerly Twitter, to react to express their puzzlement about the deleted post of Metro Boomin.

Is Metro Boomin pulling the post a sign of cancellation for Kanye West’s album?

On Wednesday, Metro Boomin tweeted “¥$¥$¥$” on X, which reportedly could be the name of Kanye West and $ign’s next album. However, shortly after sharing the tweet, he deleted it from the platform. This movement caught the attention of Ye’s verified X fan page, Donda Times, who shared the deleted tweet with a caption saying, “Metro Boomin has deleted his tweet about ¥$”. As soon as the post surfaced, fans started to flood the platform with their questions.

Some fans also felt that Ye and Metro Boomin had a fallout amidst the production. They asked if Boomin did something to tick the ‘Graduation’ rapper off.

A few fans had a hunch that something was not right with the upcoming project. And some assumed that the album is no longer in the works.
