Katy Perry is expressing her love for her boyfriend, Justin Trudeau, without any reservations. The pop star has been on a great run career-wise - got her concert film premiering at the Tribeca Festival, will be headlining the FIFA World Cup 2026 opening ceremony, and has new, larger-than-life summer festival shows in the bag. It cannot get better for Perry, except it did, as she is also making big strides in her personal life as well.  

Her relationship with the former Canadian Prime Minister is getting serious, as evidenced by the latest declaration of love.

On the red carpet at the Tribeca Festival premiere of her new concert film, Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau were enamored with one another, and she was not afraid to show her feelings for him. The 'Teenage Dream' singer, who was first connected to Trudeau last year, showed up hand in hand with the former Canadian prime minister for Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live From Paris.

Perry publicly declared that Trudeau is the "love of my life" during a post-screening Q&A session. The hitmaker mentioned that she and Trudeau were already dating at the time of the concerts in November 2025 when discussing the shows included in the concert film and whether she thought of herself as the same person at the end of the 91-date tour.

“I would say now at the end of 91 shows, I feel like a more grounded person in so many aspects of my life. I am very in love. Actually, that show was after I met the love of my life, and so I felt very anchored by that, because I'm a little bit like a rainbow kite,” Perry revealed.

As she compares herself to a rainbow kite that flies high in the sky, she considers her boyfriend, Trudeau, as her anchor that keeps her grounded. The comparison suggests the importance of Trudeau’s role in her life right now. She is grateful for his companionship, which makes every day of her life feel like a new journey and a chance to grow further.

She also talked about her split with Orlando Bloom last year during the Q&A.  

The 'Firework' singer, Katy Perry, also discussed her difficult 2025, which saw her break up with longtime partner Orlando Bloom, with whom she has a five-year-old daughter named Daisy Dove, at Monday's Q&A. The singer, whose split from Bloom was made public in June of last year, said that Daisy accompanied her on her maiden tour.

She was going through hell, as she says, but she kept going through it for her daughter and family, and all her fans. She eventually came out the other side and is now all smiles again. Regarding how Perry managed to go through her extremely turbulent year, the 'Roar musician stated that growing older comes with a lot of wisdom. Her relationship with Justin Trudeau, which started during her Lifetimes Tour last year, seems to have come full circle with this romantic declaration.
