of Frank Ocean? The ‘Donda’ singer and the ‘Channel Orange’ maker have patted
each other’s back for their musical career. When new in the industry, Ocean
collaborated with Ye making it to the long list of artists to join the rapper in
his music. With just a couple of albums, the 35-year-old has garnered an ocean
of fans, and Ye is likely a part of it as well. The proof of which was found at
his Yeezy office recently.

A Kanye West fan page account posted a photo of the Yeezy office, with a tab in
the focus. “All they play is Blond at the Yeezy office,” said the caption
referring to the Frank Ocean album. It was his second album, released
exclusively on iTunes back in 2016. The album has a total of about 17 tracks
consisting of various collaborations with artists like André 3000, Beyoncé, Kim
Burrell, etc. It ranked at no. 28 on Billboard’s top 100 albums back in 2019.

As for Ye playing the artist’s album, it comes from mutual support. They first
collaborated on the song ‘No Church in the Wild’ back in 2011. It explored the
ideas of religion and its status in the modern world, something West often
concentrates on.

than anyone. When the news of Ye playing Frank Ocean’s ‘Blond’ being played on
repeat reached fans, they totally understood him for doing so.
