Even though Kanye West lost his billionaire status after his fallout with Adidas, the price of these Yeezy pairs will shock you.

Kanye West May Not Be a Billionaire but His Nike Air Yeezy 1 ‘Prototype’ Are Made for the Rich

Kanye West is a revolutionary individual. The ‘Flashing Lights’ hitmaker has
always raised the bar high with his creative excellence in every industry he has
stepped foot in. While the rapper might be socially unacceptable among the
masses, one can not deny the fact that he is creatively incredible. We are no
strangers to the legacy Ye left behind in the world of fashion. Be it with his
impeccable fashion sense or his immaculate designs, Ye has always left the fans
in awe. Even though West might have lost his deal with Adidas, one of his Yeezy
design shoes is still amongst the most expensive pair there is.

The former partnership between Kanye West and Adidas was one of the most
successful celebrity brand deals in the history of Adidas. Throughout their
contract, West and Adidas brought a revolution in the world of shoes.
Furthermore, Yeezy became an incredibly popular shoe among the masses. Ye even
attained his billionaire status because of the profitable partnership. While he
is no longer a billionaire now, Nike Air Yeezy 1 ‘Prototype’ is surely for the
rich, with a listing price of $1.8 million. Meanwhile, the shoes even have a
peculiar backstory behind them.

The Nike Air Yeezy 1 Prototype was one of the most lucrative shoe designs by Ye.
Interestingly, it was also the first time the ‘Heartless’ star collaborated with
Nike. Interestingly, West wore the incredible sneaker pair while he officially
announced his Yeezy shoe line. Furthermore, the rapper even performed his most
popular song, ‘Stronger’ at the Grammy’s wearing the Nike Air Yeezy.

Not long ago, this Yeezy pair even became the world’s most expensive shoe.
However, the Solid Gold OVO x Air Jordans currently holds the position with a
price of nearly $2 million. Meanwhile, after his fallout with Adidas, sources
revealed West is planning to build a new brand with his wife Bianca Censori.

DID ADIDAS RECEIVE AN OFFER FOR THE REMAINING YEEZY PAIRS DESIGNED BY KANYE
WEST?

The fallout between Adidas and Kanye West took a toll on both parties. While
West lost his billionaire status, the shoe-making company went through massive
losses. Shocking as it sounds, Adidas nearly has $1.3 billion of unsold Yeezy
stock.

Not long ago, Adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden revealed how they plan to continue selling
the products without the Yeezy tag. However, CNN reported that Adidas has nearly
received 500 offers from multiple brands for the remaining Yeezy products. As of
late, there is no confirmation of what the brand plans to do.
