Kanye West just celebrated his 46th birthday in his own unique way. A year older and wiser, the rapper always manages to stay trending, even if it is for his birthday party. Now that he has made a comeback to the limelight, we see him meeting people and working on his music again. While some still criticize him, he has his close allies and family by his side. These are those who partake in whatever edgy thing he experiments with.

At his birthday party on 8th June, the rapper celebrated with his loved ones in Los Angeles on Saturday night. There was music, candles, and beauty all over. But what caught the eye was a woman lying on the table, with her n*ked body being used as a serving base for foods like sushi. It is apparently a Japanese practice called Nyotaimori, which literally means ‘body sushi’. While this is the term for a female setup, the males are called Nantaimori.

Now, Ye has been a fan of the Japanese for years now, whether it is their culture, architecture, or any such traditions. This practice has been seldom seen in the West, though can be seen in high-end parties.

Ye has always been creative with everything he does, even if it turns out to be controversial sometimes. He has set the internet on fire yet again, with his artistic birthday food table.

One fan pointed out how his pre-teen daughter North West was also present at the party. She witnessed this rare Nyotaimori tradition, and Ye did not seem to mind.

Then again, some understand that this is just how Ye does things. As for the model in the picture, a fan wonders how she manages to stay still with food being placed on her body for hours.

Now the few times we have seen such an example is in one of Katy Perry’s song as pointed out by a fan. But perhaps the most famous example is Samantha from Sex and The City trying it out to surprise her boyfriend. As for Ye, his wife Bianca Censori, his daughter, or anyone else at the party did not seem to mind.
