Brazilian authorities have reportedly warned Kanye West that he could face arrest if he performs his song 'Heil Hitler' or makes remarks in support of Nazism during his concert in São Paulo. According to Metropoles, the São Paulo State Public Prosecutor’s Office has issued strict instructions in this regard ahead of his November 29 performance. Mayor Ricardo Nunes, meanwhile, has stated, “No one who glorifies Nazism will play or sing any words" in any public facility belonging to the City Hall, emphasizing that he will take all required measures to prevent such acts.

The warning, per Metropoles, also extends to the concert’s promoters, Guilherme Cavalcante and Jean Fabrício Ramos, who could face arrest if Kanye West violates the order. São Paulo officials had earlier canceled the rapper’s show at the Interlagos racetrack due to his past antisemitic remarks. Despite these mounting restrictions, the rapper is reportedly coordinating with organizers to secure a new venue. Notably, West’s aforementioned song was also the one that got him banned from his wife’s home country earlier this year.
The multi-Grammy winner still remains banned from Australia, where his wife Bianca Censori recently reunited with her family.
What the Australian government said as they put restrictions in place for Kanye West
In July, the Australian government revoked Kanye West’s visa after he released his controversial track 'Heil Hitler' in May. Australia's Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke told ABC at the time that officials reviewed the rapper’s visa status following the song's release and decided he was no longer permitted to enter the country. He noted that Australia already faces enough social challenges and does not need to allow anyone to spread hateful or extremist messages, reaffirming the government’s stance against promoting discrimination or bigotry.
