joint album, ¥$, is expanding its tracklist with a new addition. The first song
that hit the airwaves from the album was ‘Vultures’, which brought Ye and Bump J
together for the first time since that latter’s sentencing. This track also held
special significance, as it marked Kanye West’s musical resurgence after an
extended break. As each day passes, more snippets of updates are coming to light
regarding the much-anticipated album. 

Recently, Ty Dolla $ign shared an update on his Instagram feed, that hinted at
the inclusion of a popular unreleased track in the upcoming album. 


AN UNRELEASED KANYE WEST TRACK IS ALL SET TO DEBUT IN ¥$ WITH THIS ARTIST

The upcoming will now feature the long anticipated song, ‘New Body’ as the
recent tracklist posted by $ign showed. Though the name of this track was
already familiar, its buzz started developing even more after $ign’s Instagram
post. And now, the excitement has reached new heights with the revelation that
Nicki Minaj will contribute her talents to this captivating track. Even
streaming giant, Spotify, added a stamp of credibility to the news with an
“ayoooo” comment under $ign’s post.

A few days ahead of the release of this new list by $ign, another list went
viral on the web. It was shared by the popular fan page, Unreleased Ye, on X,
formerly Twitter, claiming it to be the tracklist of the Italy session
[https://www.netflixjunkie.com/music-news-the-alleged-italy-session-tracklist-by-kanye-west-is-sparking-discussion-among-fans-for-his-upcoming-release/].
Apart from some fresh tracks, the list also featured a few tracks from
incomplete albums like ‘Yandhi’. And ‘Yandhi’ was also the scrapped album in
which the unreleased collaborative track, ‘New Body’, by Ye and Nicki Minaj was
originally recorded.

In an interview a year ago, Nicki Minaj shed light on the unreleased track and
also gave insights on why Ye scrapped the track.


WHY YE DID NOT RELEASE NICKI MINAJ’S COLLABORATIVE TRACK?

The ‘Jesus Is King’ album marked a phase in Kanye West’s life where he immersed
himself in spirituality. Nicki Minaj, in a 2022 interview with Hot 106, revealed
that West made her write her verse from the track four times to make it align
with his spiritual theme. It was this creative difference between the artists
that led to the cancellation of the track. This song was previewed at various
listening parties for the record ahead of its scrapping.

The upcoming track, ‘New Body’, is set to delve into the artists’ spiritual
connection with God. The song was leaked in the year 2019 and instantly became a
fan favorite. However, it never really got an official release, and as Minaj
likes to put it, became “the biggest hit record that never came out”. With this
new update, it is safe to say that the long-awaited collaborative song is
finally back on the table!
