Burke stated that Australia would not "import hatred," emphasizing that antisemitism and extremist rhetoric were incompatible with the nation's values.

Although West attempted to pivot with 'Hallelujah' and publicly distanced himself from antisemitism afterward, the damage had already spread across governments, streaming services, and much of the music industry. Unlike earlier controversies surrounding albums such as 'Ye' or 'Donda', this episode demonstrated that the repercussions extended beyond public criticism into tangible legal, commercial, and international travel restrictions.
