Britney Spears has finally reflected on whether she will return to the entertainment industry for another musical journey. After releasing her last album, 'Glory,' in 2016 and later a world tour, the pop singer has been through a difficult period. She successfully ended her controversial 13-year conservatorship in 2021 and has since been on a journey of healing. Over the last few years, Spears has remained active on social media, sharing dance videos with her fans. She has also used the platform to share her thoughts and opinions.
In her most recent emotional post, the pop star opened up about some of the difficult moments of her career while revealing her decision to return to the music industry.
Britney Spears has no plans to return to making music
Britney Spears recently shared a lengthy post on X, opening up about her personal life and reflecting on some of the difficult experiences she has faced. She also spoke candidly about her time in the music industry, recalling the challenges she faced. In her emotional post, Spears also revealed that because of these reasons, she has no interest in returning to the music industry.
"I don't want to be in the business and frankly the thought of the business …” she wrote on X.
“It's not like it was when I was younger ... My intention and mindset were in a completely different place when I used to perform ... Not one time in those 15 years was it ever me and the way I use to think ... I was shamed, embarrassed, and forced to do all of it.”

In her post, Spears shared another emotional message about her two sons. She recalled how her parents spent time with them when they were younger and took them to the beach. She expressed her sadness over not getting the chance to spend more time with her children during their childhood. In the emotional post, Spears also reflected on her role as a mother, saying she felt she had failed after learning that one of her sons did not believe in God.
"I will never get those years back, and I'm proud of bringing it up because it's honestly unbelievably sad," she said about the tough days of her life.
While it has been a rough time for the singer, and she has no desire to return to the music industry, music has remained a crucial part of her life. She admitted that she still listens to one particular album more often than others.
Britney Spears could not stop listening to this album
This year has been particularly tough for Britney Spears, who was charged with DUI. The charge was later reduced to the less severe “wet reckless” offense, and she entered rehab. Despite this difficult period, Spears has remained connected to music, dancing to songs by Beyoncé and sharing the videos on social media.
“So weird how all i listen to is the last @beyonce album,” she said.
