“I think I’m cute”- Kendrick Lamar Has the Internet Wheezing With His Photos, Following the Greatest Rap Beef in Recent Time

Not so long ago, the hip-hop circle was teeming with lightning clouds of fury when Kendrick Lamar went up against the Canadian rapper, Drake. But as days proceeded, the reservoir of fiery retorts cooled down and the grimness of the rap scene slowly dissipated. Having reached the after-hours of the high-profile mic-drop moments aggravated by consecutive releases of diss tracks, K-Dot appears to be shedding his eerie skin of recent memory by reawakening his sense of humor and fans do not seem to get enough of it.

After putting a cork on the bottle of pent-up slams, Kendrick Lamar is presently prioritizing beauty over the brawl, and his recent photoshoot with Chanel brings a case in point. As the pictures were released on May 28, instead of making headlines, they caught the attention of pranksters. One of Lamar's closest friends, Punch, could not help but ask him, “What you doing dawg?” Lamar, embarrassed, responded with crying emojis, saying, “I think I look cute on there, man.”

Just a week ago, the entire hip-hop scene was buzzing with discussions about the Lamar-Drake drama, although it has since subsided. Lamar even outperformed Drake by surpassing 'God's Plan' with 'Not Like Us', reaching 200 million streams. It seems fate indeed favored K-Dot, turning him from the King of Fury one minute to the King of Charm the next.

Fans hilariously agree with Kendrick Lamar’s remarks after his Chanel photoshoot

As Punch doubled down on the jokes, he further quipped about Kendrick Lamar’s “dreamy eyes” from the Chanel shoot. Although Lamar clapped back with his humor, fans still found it difficult to overlook the change in Lamar since the days of diss encounters with Drake. However, even fans could not disagree with K-Dot as they finally added that the picture is indeed "lowkey" cute.

Many fans, struggling to reconcile the baddie and softie profiles of Lamar, found humor in the conversation. However, Drake's fans quickly flooded the online discussion with negative comments.

Even though there were few direct references to Drake in the thread, this was seen as an opportunity for them to criticize Lamar. Yet, it was the K-Dot fans who had the last laugh, as the other end of responses were largely ignored, signaling that the days of beef were over and that they were uninterested in revisiting past conflicts. Likewise, Lamar may have said goodbye to his tough side, at least until the next wave of fury seeks him out.
