Popstar Miley Cyrus received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles this week, and it was a milestone moment filled with star power, fashion, and celebration. Surrounded by close friends, longtime collaborators, and familiar faces from the entertainment world, Cyrus marked the major career honor at an emotional ceremony that quickly drew attention online. Miley Cyrus was awarded the 2845th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday. Cyrus has been immortalized alongside other pop stars such as Madonna, Lady Gaga, and Christina Aguilera. Special guests on the occasion included actress Anya Taylor-Joy and fashion designer Donatella Versace. 

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce wisely scheduled the ceremony for Friday, May 22, 2026. The date is also the 20th anniversary of her iconic series Hannah Montana. Anya Taylor-Joy gave a moving speech, lauding Cyrus as a woman who taught an entire generation how to own their story. 

“WALK OF FAME With my fans surrounding me, who I owe it all to & Donatella Versace in Versace of course (same) and @anyataylorjoy in archival Bob Mackie looking like heaven. “Days like this don’t get much better,” Ms. Cyrus later wrote on X after receiving the honor. Thank you to my team @crushmusic, @fanmade, @oliviarudensky, @caa, @columbiarecords, my momager @tishcyrus and @billsobel. Thank you so much to everyone I know and love, to my friends, my family, and my love. “I love you.”

Additionally, Cyrus was joined at the ceremony by her fiancé, Maxx Morando, her mother, Tish Cyrus, and sister Brandi Cyrus. She wore a dramatic rockstar-inspired gown with asymmetrical straps, studded detailing, and lace all over it. The look was completed with a flowing skirt and floor-length train, adding to the glamour of the occasion.
