<p><a href="https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/will-smith/">Will Smith</a> may have kicked off his career in the music industry back in the 80s, and now it looks like his daughter, <a href="https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/willow-smith/">Willow Smith</a> is taking over the reins. Right from her childhood, she has been making music and building her own fan base. But with little over a decade since her first hit song, &#8216;Whip My Hair,&#8217; the singer received the compliment of a lifetime from a 6-time Grammy-winning Funk band.</p>
<p>Though everyone knows Willow Smith is extremely talented, the singer has outdone herself with her latest cover. So much so that even the band&#8217;s song she covered fell in love with it.</p>
<h2>Willow Smith receives love from this iconic 70s band</h2>
<p>Recently, one of Willow Smith&#8217;s covers garnered attention from the band she had covered, Earth, Wind, &amp; Fire. It was a rendition of their 1975 song, &#8216;Reasons&#8217;. And to no one&#8217;s surprise, the 6-time Grammy winner loved it as much as her fans and followers did. In fact, not only did the icons comment <em>&#8220;Beautiful&#8221;</em> but <a href="https://www.instagram.com/stories/earthwindandfire/3204386908864469028/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">they also re-shared her cover to their story earlier today</a>. It was captioned with a little yellow heart that was sure to have sent Smith into a fangirl meltdown.</p>

Along with the famous Funk band, there was also a Grammy-winning rocker in the comments. Lenny Kravitz also praised Will Smith&#8217;s daughter for being given the right type of <em>&#8220;education&#8221; </em>and said how much he loves to see her playing some Verdine White.</p>
