In the last year, Kanye West has dominated headlines with the promise of a new album. Meanwhile, fans have gotten two unconnected songs since the album has continually been pushed. Although fans might be getting antsy about the wait, they have thankfully been receiving one update after the other. Most recently, it was revealed that Ye would be making a comeback in 2024 with Ty Dolla $ign and an album called ‘Y$’.

Now, shortly after the rappers teased the world with a taste of their new music, another collaborator has subtly confirmed that he is working with the iconic music creator.

Anthony Kilhoffer confirms collaboration with Kanye West

In a recent post on Instagram, the 4-time Grammy winner, Anthony Kilhoffer, shared a few pictures on his account. Although the snaps were relatively random, it was the caption that ended up catching attention. The artist wrote, “This is how you finish an album” as he shared a picture of 6 cups of coffee and a scribbled sketch from one of Ty Dolla $ign’s post on the second slide.

While he and Kanye West have worked together before, the drawing had everyone in the comments wondering what it meant. It also confirmed that the two had teamed up to put out a track or more for an album. However, so far, it is uncertain whether it is for the same ‘Y$’ album or for another one that his fans do not know about as of yet. If it is for the same album, Kilhoffer has been added to a long list of other collaborators.

It should not come as a surprise that Kanye West, the Yeezy creator, is working with some of the best musicians in the industry. However, this update came shortly after Ty Dolla $ign surprised fans with another album update.

Once Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign dropped ‘Vultures’, the world went insane. However, the silence after that was not handled well. While fans were getting antsy about the album, the rapper gave them assurance with a surprising post to his Instagram. In it, he shared the names of songs and a rough design of the artwork for it. On the list, fans could also see the recently released track.

With 18 song names on the list, he sure ended up sending fans into a frenzy over the update. After the reaction to their last releases, there is no saying what could happen once the artists manage to drop the whole album. Unfortunately, fans will have to wait until 2024 for that.
