Thanks to their infamous feud, Kendrick Lamar and Drake are two names that have become inseparable in the mainstream hip-hop circle. Since the rap arena transformed into a battlefield between the music moguls, fans have been on their toes, nitpicking the roots of each update that helms the issue. Although fans have been majorly opposites in their stances, after the traffic garnered by K-Dot following his latest slam track ‘Not Like Us’, fans have reunited unanimously for one demand- that he shares his truckload of finance earned from the track with Drizzy.

When Kendrick Lamar released ‘Not Like Us’, his fanbase was ready with the crown in hand for the rhyme master. However, Drake fans were not too far along as they too were buckling to initiate him to the throne. Despite the steep competition, Lamar’s last diss track hit the roof with relentless streaming as per DJ Akademiks on X, earning him over 280K within a week of its release. Although it was largely anticipated that fans of Drake would come up with counter-defensive strategies following the generated fortune, it was instead both the fanbases that left everyone surprised.

After Lamar released 'Not Like Us', the track even dethroned Taylor Swift on the Apple Music Top 5 chart, sparking a renewed sense of speculation that it could continue with its trend of defying expectations. However, soon after, there arose a far and wide allegation suggesting that he had plagiarized tweets for his track. Despite raising concerns that these accusations would harm the song's reception, recent financial data indicates otherwise.

Fans' comparisons shrink to unanimous demand amidst the Kendrick Lamar-Drake feud

The Kendrick Lamar-Drake rivalry has long held fans' fascination. Each day brings a new twist that keeps them engaged in the battle. Initially, the song's hook was the diss factor upon release, but it quickly evolved into a discussion of accusations, reviews, critics' reactions, and the records it shattered, culminating in its financial success. For fans, the most captivating aspect was Lamar and Drizzy themselves, leading to calls for Drake to receive a share of the fortune.

The financial figures left many fans astounded, but others maintained their steadfast demand. While some believed it was an outcome of Lamar's talent, a few others thanked Drake instead.

Even though it seems unlikely that Lamar would heed these calls, fans continued to express their unwavering support. However, with recent updates such as the financial generation, there is little doubt that the focus of the battle is shifting as momentum declines. In these dramatic showdowns, there are typically no clear winners, but with fans urging Lamar to share his wealth with Drake, K-Dot's supporters appear steadfast in their conviction otherwise.
