Not just that, some of the keen-eyed fans have been speculating lately if their beloved singer has been working on a new album. But it appears fans have started losing their hopes of hearing something new from this music mogul.

Rap TV recently rolled out a tweet on X (formerly known as Twitter) asking fans an intriguing question. In the post, they listed the top five singers and asked who would choose to drop an album next week. The names include Kanye West, Frank Ocean, J. Cole, Young Thug, and Jay Z. It was certainly a tough choice considering all of them have proved their talent in creating iconic music.

But unlike most of the times when fans jump in to show support for the Grammy winner, they had someone else in mind. Maybe it has happened because the pop icon has not talked about his new music or even dropped a hint in recent months. Not to mention, the rapper has remained occupied with his travels and lawsuits lately.

Fans choose Frank Ocean over Kanye West 

Seeing this post, many fans participated in this debate over whom they wanted to release a new album in just one week. Most of the comments came in support of Frank Ocean, who has been noted for his avant-garde styles and introspective, elliptical lyrics in songs. It looks like fans miss him more because the 35-year-old has not released an album since 2016. He dropped his second studio album ‘Blonde’ seven years back, which solidified his status as one of the greatest icons in the 21st century.

But there were still some fans who wanted only to listen to Kanye West and gave him a shout-out.
