A notion went viral online claiming that Ice Spice refused to collaborate with other female rappers, equating herself with Cinderella and her peers as stepsisters. Ice Spice has made no public statements that she will not work with female rappers or that she will not collaborate with women in hip-hop. This began with the parody account on X named Hoops Crave, which started the rumor as a joke, which several users online took seriously and began to question the rapper.

"Ice Spice says she will no longe collaborate with any other female rappers: 'There’s only one Princess. You don’t see Cinderella doing features with the stepsisters'," the tweet read.

The Bronx rapper has time and again demonstrated her willingness to work with other musicians. She worked with British artist PinkPantheress on the hit 'Boy's a Liar Pt. 2,' which featured a combination of drill and pop musical styles. She also collaborated with Latto on 'Gyatt,' with a WWE-themed music video, which marked the end of their rumored conflict. Spice and Nicki Minaj collaborated on hit songs 'Princess Diana' (remix) and 'Barbie World.'

The rapper has publicly recognized that rap music operates as a competitive zone. She explained in interviews that female artists compete with each other in friendly ways, which makes their musical genre remain active. She has not shown that she views the situation as aggressive or protective.

Ice Spice has stated that female rappers display competitive energy, which helps musicians maintain their creative edge, according to her. She explained in a NYLON interview that female artists in the genre enjoy the friendly competition because competitive pressure enables them to maintain their artistic drive while improving their performance.

"Honestly, the pressure’s great. I think the girls [in rap] also enjoy the friendly competition amongst each other. I feel like that’s what keeps the spark," the rapper told NYLON.

Today, female hip-hop artists demonstrate mutual respect and confidence through their music by choosing to create new sounds rather than attacking their peers. While rivalries and beefs are a crucial aspect of hip-hop, whether it is Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar or Nicki Minaj vs. Cardi B, Ice Spice is certainly not feuding with them at present.
