During a live broadcast on her Twitch channel, dojacattington, Doja Cat sharply criticized Tyga's new album '$tarface'. Clips of her colourful critique quickly circulated across various fan accounts and social media platforms as fans reshared clips of Doja Cat’s comments.

"Tyga is a p**** for making an AI album," she stated directly to her viewers during the stream. Tyga previously defended his creative choices in a Vibe interview by comparing artificial intelligence to early autotune usage. He argued that modern technology serves as a creative tool designed to give listeners an emotional experience.

“It’s no different than when Auto-Tune came out. Some people were opposed to it, but real artists took it and used it,” he said. He also explained during his earlier sit-down that he does not care about the listener’s criticism.

“If you like it, you like it; if you don’t, you don’t. I don’t care. It’s supposed to give you an experience and a feeling. But we definitely used AI as a tool,” he said. Despite his defence, many artists remain strongly opposed to replacing traditional human performance with machine generation. Doja Cat’s blunt criticism during the Twitch channel stream reflects widespread hesitation among musicians regarding automated album production.
