The Backstreet Boys are one of the world's most successful pop groups, having weathered countless challenges to stay together for more than three decades. Much of the band's success can be credited to their chart-topping hits, loyal fanbase, strong friendship, and, most importantly, the unwavering support of their loved ones. The members have also spoken about how becoming fathers transformed their lives, both personally and professionally.
Ahead of Father's Day, all five members reflected on their journeys through parenthood, sharing heartfelt stories about their children and the profound impact they have had on their lives.

Backstreet Boys members Nick Carter, AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough, and Kevin Richardson recently spoke to E! News at The One Party by Uber in New York City. Richardson, who shares two children with Kristin Kay Willits, said that becoming a father changed his life. Carter, who is the father of Odin, Saoirse, and Pearl, agreed with Richardson's sentiments.
“We do everything for our children, now,” he said.
"We all now know about balance. Obviously, family comes first. We try to balance our work and our personal lives. We all spend quality time together when we're on the road with our families," AJ McLean added.
Howie Dorough, who shares two sons with Leigh Dorough, told E! News that they have become more selfless after experiencing fatherhood. The band members also credit this love from their kids and partners as the energy that inspires them and keeps them together. And the artists who are also fathers want to show the same support to their kids.
"Hard work, communication, teamwork, sacrificing for each other, supporting one another, good support structure at home," Richardson said.
"We got five great women that have supported everything we've done. Our families, good management, great fans, good music, hard work, heart and soul," he further added.
While the group's family life has played a key role in their longevity, there is also curiosity about the band’s success journey, and if it has been documented that way boy bands are prone to getting.
