Taylor Swift is currently navigating a very crucial phase of her life - life as a newlywed. It has been over a month since the wedding, and now both Swift and Travis Kelce need to find a new normal between their professional and personal lives. Kelce has already returned to his training with his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, for his 14th NFL season. But what about Taylor Swift? What has she been up to?

The answers to these questions were recently provided by a report claiming that the award-winning singer is now pouring all her energy into new music.

Taylor Swift is already cooking up new music

According to a recent story by Page Six, an insider told them that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are juggling their different but rigorous schedules in order to face their newlywed chapter head-on. The 'Opalite' singer is working on her own projects while the football star is concentrating on his season.

"Taylor has been pouring herself into writing new music and is incredibly inspired creatively. Songwriting has been her main focus, and she’s really excited about what’s taking shape,” the insider said.

Swift recently had a lengthy interview about her career as a musician with Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. for the Grammy Museum's Icon Sessions. This was Swift's first public interview and performance since getting married. The singer showed off her new collection of rings, which featured a gold wedding band and her enormous 10-carat Kindred Lubeck Old Mine diamond engagement ring.

Swift gave the audience a medley of her songs 'I Knew It, I Knew You,' 'August,' and 'All Too Well,' but she withheld any information about her ultra-secret wedding, which was planned to resemble a real garden inside the arena, had about 1,000 A-list guests, and included opulent giveaways. Well, the Page Six report does take that lingering attention from her wedding to her upcoming work.

While she works on new music, there is already buzz around her previously featured song for an Oscar nod.

Taylor Swift might receive her first Oscar nomination

Taylor Swift's 'I Knew It, I Knew You' is already being referred to by IndieWire as the front-runner for Best Original Song, indicating a combination that the Academy will find hard to overlook. Swift's song has received a lot of commercial attention, and Toy Story 5 has grown to be a significant box office success. However, after analyzing how the song works within the film, the outlet identifies one odd flaw. Instead of being a part of the story itself, it plays over the end credits.

The Academy has clarified its stance on end-credit songs for the 99th Oscars by mandating that the submission clip for a song that starts as the first new music cue in the credits contain the last 15 seconds before the titles roll. According to Academy regulations, Original Song accomplishments are evaluated based on their efficacy, artistry, creative content, and significance to the dramatic totality, particularly as it is portrayed in the film. This might affect Swift’s chances for an Oscar for the song.
