As Coachella launched into action on Friday, boasting a lineup filled with musical virtuosos, the evening hit several high notes that thrilled fans. Yet, amidst the fervent anticipation and excitement surrounding the year's most-anticipated music festival, fans also eagerly sought confirmation regarding the potential attendance of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. Prior to Sabrina Carpenter taking the stage at the festival, speculation arose about whether Swift would join her on stage, leaning on their duet from Eras Tour.

Lana Del Rey’s headliner also added to the conjectures. However, despite both their performances having concluded, the question endures: will the pair attend the music festival of the year to witness their friends on stage?

Coachella may have missed out on a Taylor Swift performance for 2024, but the talks about her presence at the event have barely left the discussions. With all eyes on Swift and Travis Kelce’s scheduled destinations, fans have been hoping for the pair’s possible appearance at the festival, and earlier, several fan pages including Lana Del Rey Charts confirmed the same highlighting Lana Del Rey’s headliner and Sabrina Carpenter’s sundowner set. However, the lovebirds have not touched down in Indio yet, but in the future, they might.

According to Lana Del Rey Chart’s updates on X from April 12, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were among the celebrity attendees’ list that included Anne Hathaway, Camila Cabello, Selena Gomez, and Benny Blanco. Furthermore, on the schedule for Saturday, Jack Antonoff will also play along. Since both Lana Del Rey and Carpenter’s performances ended up with a bang, especially with the latter’s iconic sign-off, the chances are that the pair might as well grace the show since the three acts will repeat next week.

In a February interview with Netflix Junkie, the superfan behind Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour handle on X shared their perspective on Swift’s absence from Coachella’s 2024 lineup and its potential impact on her standing in the music industry. While expressing the common fan hope for Swift to headline Coachella someday, the superfan also clarified that her decision not to do so would not adversely “affect her career” at this juncture.

According to the superfan, if Swift was inclined to perform at Coachella at this stage of her career, she could easily arrange it without difficulty. However, while such a move might boost sales for the festival, it would likely benefit them more than Swift herself. Additionally, they expressed that if Swift did decide to perform at Coachella, it would be “awesome” without a doubt. But regardless, keeping in consideration the fervor surrounding her Eras Tour, the influence seems no less than Coachella.
