Cardi B has always had a way of staying firmly in the spotlight. Sometimes it is her very public clashes with Nicki Minaj that reignite long-running rap rivalries, and other times it is her headline-making performances, including her recent concert appearances in Saudi Arabia. Whether through music, controversy, or cultural moments, Cardi rarely fades from the public eye for long.

Now, the Grammy-winning rapper is back in the headlines once again, not for her music or feuds. But for a far more personal reason, the growing scrutiny surrounding her relationship with NFL star Stefon Diggs.

As of now, Cardi B and Stefon Diggs have not announced a breakup. Despite intense online speculation, the two are still officially together, even as fans dissect every public appearance and social media silence for clues. The rumors gained traction after Diggs was noticeably absent during the holidays, prompting fans to question whether the relationship was on shaky ground. Given Cardi’s history of highly publicized relationships and equally public breakups, speculation quickly escalated into assumptions of an imminent split.

"Y'all need to calm down," that is how she started her monologue, as she recorded herself. "Is y'all cool? Y'all been dragging me for three or four days and y'all been a little bit too mean. Like alright now. Y'all being a little bit too mean," she continued.

Online chatter intensified, as reported by PEOPLE, after fans noted the pair did not spend Christmas together, prompting theories that the relationship may be strained. Particularly as Cardi B adjusts to life as a new mother after welcoming her baby boy with Stefon Diggs in November. The message arrived shortly after Stefon Diggs shared Christmas photos featuring two different babies, including one captioned, “One of my boys' first Christmas,” which reignited online theories about his personal life.

Cardi B has a message for fans

In the same video, Cardi B sent a clear message to fans. She made it clear that the mounting speculation around her personal life has taken an emotional toll. Speaking directly to her audience, the rapper revealed that January of 2026 is going to be consumed by grueling 10 to 12-hour rehearsals for her Little Miss Drama tour in support of her second studio album with star-studded features, a period that will also pull her away from home and her children.

“I’m gonna be away from my babies, away from my personal life, away from home, " Cardi B added, "I need my support system, my fans to love me,” urging supporters to show up with positivity rather than judgment.

“I want y’all to come to my tour and enjoy yourselves with me. Don’t be dragging me. That’s enough.”
