Amidst the Birthday Sushi Controversy, Kanye West Earns Diamond Certification Yet Again for a 2011 Jay-Z Collaboration

Diamond Certification. The rapper continues to climb ladders of success despite
not releasing albums in a while and being caught in a storm of issues. But it is
perhaps his skills as a rapper that have still kept loyal fans hooked on him. He
started off his career as a producer, with Jay-Z being one of his regular
clients.

After being one of the highest earners of Grammy’s and topping several music
charts and then going under the radar following the antisemitism backlash, Ye
has returned to making music again. But evidently, his fans have been listening
to his old classics as well. He has won a diamond certification yet again, this
time for a 2011 collaboration with Jay-Z.


HOW JAY Z ENTERED THE DIAMOND CLUB WITH KANYE WEST BEING HONORED WITH IT THE
SECOND TIME

Kanye West celebrated his 46th birthday recently, and with that came another
feather on his hat. He earned his second Diamond certification, this time for
the song ‘N**** In Paris’. It was made along with Jay-Z back in 2011 when they
were on good terms. This is the ‘New York’ singer’s first time winning the
Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Ye won it before for his 2007
song ‘Stronger’ from the album Graduation’. The award is granted to any piece of
music that sells a whopping 10 million units.

‘N**** In Paris’ was part of Ye and Jay-Z’s work together for Watch The Throne
album. The song even won two awards at the 55th Grammy for Best Rap Performance
and Best Rap Song. They have performed it together numerous times, remaining one
of the top hits of both of their careers.

other. The latest one was for his 46th birthday party, where he served sushi off
the body of a naked woman
