The service also featured songs from the Grammy winner’s album ‘Donda’ including ‘No Child Left Behind’, ‘Hurricane’, ‘Moon’, and ‘Come to Life’. However, this event ultimately stirred controversy because of Manson’s appearance. The 54-year-old has been accused by several women of sexual abuse and him being one of the lead disgusted people.

Ye received backlash after their Halloween service

Following this gospel service, Ashley Morgan Smithline, who sued the singer alleging physical violence and abuse, sat down with PEOPLE to talk about Manson. She stated that it was traumatizing to see him standing beside Kanye West and Justin Bieber at the event. It was hurtful for her to see how famous people get away with things so easily. Moreover, she also referred to the former billionaire for bringing him to such a pious ceremony.

“This man has to know that he is enabling a rapist. He’s enabling an abuser and not just [of] one girl,” she added. Meanwhile, it was also revealed that the ‘Love Yourself’ singer had no knowledge about Manson attending it.
