In a recent interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music, Cudi shared the rationale behind keeping up with their brotherhood status. The Cleveland-born rapper revealed, “The reason why we became cool again is because he apologized to me”.

The rapper continued that although West was not the person to “apologize to anybody and say sorry to anyone”, he did the unthinkable. Furthermore, Cudi also shouldered the responsibility to unveil that “We like the duo that everybody loves to see.” because “there’s just nothing like Kanye and Cudi”.

When things went bitter between the rappers, Kanye West and Kid Cudi, not many remained unaware of the nitpicks of the matter. However, the pair not only has been resettling on their disputes, but even owning up to their misgivings. In the same interview, Kid Cudi brought to focus the reason behind him not giving up on Ye. Cudi said, “You don’t give up on family.”.

Reflecting on the time, ‘The Prayer’ rapper disclosed that he did want to “walk away”. However, a reminder that kept stopping him was how Ye “championed me and did things for me that nobody else did for me early on in my career.”. He even appreciated West&#8217;s efforts in &#8220;learning&#8221; and &#8220;growing&#8221; which keeps Ye in his &#8216;prayers&#8217;. Therefore, even with the presence of disagreements and arguments, Cudi’s take finalizes that there is no sort of “bad blood” between them.
