$800 million worth of shoes in two rows earlier this year through Adidas
smartphone apps and its website.

Now the company has a new plan for the unsold stock, which is worth $32o million
and the odds might just be in their favor.

Adidas might write off the remaining $320 million worth of Yeezy shoes left
unsold after it cut ties with Kanye West. The company has been weighing this and
will decide in the coming weeks whether to do a third release. Parts of the
profits they have earned from the previous sale went to groups fighting
antisemitism. “Right now, that is financially the worst case, and it is a
possibility. Currently, there is no decision,” remarked Gulden in a conference

next ComplexCon on November 18 and 19. The team that will present it includes
Ian Connor, former style consultant to Kanye West, designer Christian Azzinaro,
and influencer Bloody Osiris.
