The newly formed band December 10 delivered a polished performance of an NSYNC cover for the season finale of the Netflix docuseries Simon Cowell: The Next Act. This performance served as the official debut for the group, showcasing a live acoustic version of the hit song ‘Bye Bye Bye’, which was filmed at the iconic Metropolis Studios in London.
The seven members selected the name December 10 to celebrate the release date of their documentary series, referring to the day as their collective anniversary. Fans and critics have praised the vocal talents and stage presence of the group, noting the rigorous training they underwent throughout the competition.
Simon Cowell: The Next Act is a six-part Netflix docuseries that follows the music mogul as he attempts to discover a global boy band to rival the dominance of K-pop. The series captures the high-stakes journey from regional open-call auditions to a final boot camp in Miami, where Cowell whittles down over 1,000 applicants to a final group of seven.
The search for the next global phenomenon led to the selection of seven distinct individuals from various backgrounds across the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Christoffersen is often regarded as the levelheaded mentor of the group, whereas Hayden traveled from Ireland to pursue his musical ambitions after years of vocal training. Rounding out the lineup are Fadare, who famously passed on a theater role to join the band, and best friends Danny Bretherton and Josh Olliver, who auditioned together in Liverpool.

Together with their final members, the band has already faced early challenges, including a potential legal naming dispute with a Scottish metal band and viral debates regarding their ambitious comparisons to global K-pop sensations. However, that has not tainted the hype sorrounding their 'Bye, Bye, Bye' performance on Netflix's grand stage.
