Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce finally turned one of pop culture’s most closely watched romances into a marriage on July 3, 2026, when they exchanged vows at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Three years after Kelce first tried to meet Swift at her Eras Tour stop in Kansas City, the NFL star and the pop superstar celebrated their wedding with around 1,000 guests, including some of the biggest names in Hollywood and music.

Now, nearly two months after the extravagant celebration, Kelce is looking back at the night that changed everything, admitting that despite all the spectacle, he only wishes their “magical” wedding had lasted longer.

Speaking as a newly married man on the New Heights podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end reflected on the celebration with an unmistakably emotional tone. He said he and Swift were deeply grateful to everyone who came to celebrate with them and described the entire evening as something truly magical.

“Me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up.… It was just so magical, man. I wish it could have lasted longer than it did,”  he said.
