As it turns out, the heart is not always where the home is. Despite being tethered to the same industry and meeting through common recreational activities, Kelsea Bellerini and Chase Stokes have gotten to know better.

Where it seemed they could not be kept away for long, Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes have finally separated their lives like oil and water. 

Despite it being less than a week prior that she was seen reflecting about love at the Grammy Awards, Kelsea Ballerini mustered the courage to move on. The ‘Cowboys Cry Too’ singer and actor Chase Stokes had spent the last close-to-four years moving in circles, which they have finally unsubscribed to, according to several outlets. Following suit, Ballerini has even been noted to have unfollowed Stokes on Instagram, which he did not follow through with himself.

While the exact date of their call-off remains a mystery, the news comes only a few weeks after their reconciliation in December 2025. 

Stokes and Bellerini first came into the picture in 2023, after attending the College Football Playoff National Championship together. In April 2023, they made their first public appearance as a couple at the CMT Music Awards. News of their first separation was broken almost three years later, in September 2025.

While their reconciliation went through pulls and pushes throughout the holiday season starting November 2025, the pair has finally broken up as of February 2026.

Ballerini’s spins on the stage, that of the Grammys in particular, are sharp and unbroken as ever. 

Released in October 2024, Kelsea Ballerini’s fifth musical act, the studio album ‘Patterns’, made it to the Grammy nominations, announced in November 2026. The country-pop album competed for the Best Contemporary Country Album, which was taken away by Jelly Roll for ‘Beautifully Broken’. Bellerini has also been nominated for Best Country Album, Best New Artist, and Best Country Solo Performance in previous years. 

Kelsea Ballerini, while aiming for a more reserved and quiet personal life in 2026, has made one last public fall-out call. However, even as Chase Stokes and Ballerini go their separate ways and onto new Outer Banks seasons, their crafts and their history remain a mark of contemporary legacy.
