The 81st Golden Globe Awards will begin any minute, while the pre-show is going on like a banger. And the first spade of the day is the pop sensation Dua Lipa. Rocking the black palette with sturdy stones gleaming on her neckline, the actress appeared for a conversation with Deadline Hollywood. Stressing on the release date, February 2nd, Dua Lipa expressed how she has been “really excited about that.”. She added that it is “coming very soon” and she had been working on it with great dedication. While she also talked about being an “experimental Barbie” of sorts in the same exchange, let’s wait and watch to see what new tides of nuances she brings to the plate after Argylle releases. 
The fact that Dua Lipa, however, has been keeping up with the promotion game at the award show is clear proof that the spy-thriller will be a banger. And given that this is the first time the icon will star on the big screen without being the musical muse, it is difficult not to keep the eyes on the prize for the next season of trophies. Especially since the newcomer’s perspective will go neck-to-neck with the veteran showrunner, Henry Cavill.

Looking back at it, Lipa expressed how she wrote and rewrote the song to align and ‘marry’ it “to the screen”. Dua Lipa also added that “watching the film was really exciting.”.

She admitted how surreal it was to &#8220;have such a big dance moment and hearing your song alongside seeing the whole cast”. Furthermore, she described how truly satisfying it was to ultimately witness something she had been “working in the studios” to “materialize in such a massive way”. Now whether all the hard work brings Dua Lipa, the award home or not is still awaiting the clock’s tick.
