League of Legends animated series Arcane to release on Netflix in Fall 2021

League of Legends developer Riot Games and Netflix have announced a new animated
series titled Arcane with a short video teasing it.

Riot Games announced many various big projects last year to celebrate its 10th
year. Those projects included many games like VALORANT and more upcoming ones
alongside a new animated series. We have not heard from that series for a long
time. Meanwhile, Netflix released its popular Dota 2 anime
[https://netflixjunkie.com/?s=dota+dragons+blood] which proved that video game
animations are more than welcome on Netflix. Now, Netflix and Riot Games shared
the official announcement video for their new animated series Arcane
[https://gamezo.co.uk/arcane-league-of-legends-tv-series-coming-to-netflix-in-fall-2021/].

They did not announce when they’re going to release it for certain. However, we
have a release window that’s relatively soon.

WHAT IS ARCANE ABOUT?

The animated series is going to be about a story from League of Legends lore. In
the short announcement video, we see Jinx and Vi in action. We know from the
game’s background that those two have a history. While Vi is a policewoman
working to protect Piltover, Jinx is a loose cannon, or punk, who likes to break
havoc. Jinx is known for pulling some “pranks” on Piltover’s wealthy class, and
those pranks can sometimes be criminally dangerous. Vi, on the other hand, is
someone who gets things done. She is known as “The Piltover Enforcer.” We will
probably see champions like Caitlyn who are related to Vi and Jinx’s story in
Arcane.

We will probably get to know the story better when we get an official teaser or
a trailer.

WHAT IS THE SYNOPSIS OF ARCANE?

Netflix describes its new animated series:

From the creators of League of Legends comes a new animated series, Arcane. Set
in the utopian region of Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun, the
story follows the origins of two iconic League champions-and the power that will
tear them apart.

WHAT IS THE RELEASE DATE OF ARCANE?

Netflix is going to release Arcane in fall 2021. We do not know a certain date
yet. Here is the announcement video of the League of Legends animated series
Arcane.
