27 Grammy wins, 66 nominations, and a forever-brewing tussle with Drake, yet Kendrick Lamar is known, above all, for his kindness. Since the release of his last album, which both made and broke records, Lamar has tried to stay out of the spotlight. But it seems it's 'God's Plan' to bring his good deeds to light anyway.

Kendrick Lamar had already made waves donating to L.A. charities. This time, his goodness had a personal touch: he remembered and kept a promise made to a seven-year-old fan who lost both arms in a dog attack.

Pictures of Kendrick Lamar celebrating the birthday of the young kid as he blew out the candles on his cake made rounds on X, with reports claiming that the singer had earlier promised to meet the fan and stayed true to it as he came bearing gifts on his birthday, leaving fans in awe.

While most details surrounding the fan have been kept under wraps, there are no reports needed to show just how much the visit from Kendrick Lamar meant for the kid who was smiling from ear to ear in the now-viral pictures posted by the NFR podcast on X. The Grammy-winning singer did not come empty-handed but brought with him several gifts & VIP passes to Disneyland, Universal, and Hollywood.

Kendrick Lamar's birthday surprise for dog attack survivor has fans in awe

Almost every Kendrick Lamar headline these past few years has been some version of him touching the sky. The news of him showing up for a 7-year-old fan's birthday was no different — except this time, fans found a reason to appreciate him not for the musician, but for the man.

Taking the poetic route, a fan recalled a line from Kendrick Lamar's very own track 'man at the garden' where he says, "I did it with integrity and - still try and hate on me" clearly insinuating how Lamar has always maintained his integrity, and the gesture towards the fan was further proof.

Another hopeful fan wrote, "Surely no one will have a problem with this……right?" but they got their answer in the negative, as a few commenters went on to criticize the singer.

From "Kendrick giving gifts is sweet, but music still feels like a L. Lmao." to "The way Kendrick sings happy birthday is so bad," several commentators had it out for his singing skills. While some took away from the heartwarming moment by criticizing the singer's music, others decided to make it about Drake. "Using a handicap kid to better your pr is a new low for Kendrick," a fan wrote, accusing Lamar of simply doing this to better his image.

While social media may have gone into very different tangents after receiving the news, the claim that Kendrick Lamar's young fan probably celebrated his most memorable birthday yet, remains unchallenged.
