Among these many people, we now saw the addition of yet another big name from the industry. Dame Dash aka Damon Anthony Dash; the co-founder of Roc-A-Fella along with Jay-Z and Kareem Burke. The successful entrepreneur and record executive recently praised Ye, following the release of jeen-yuhs. The three-act document now airing on Netflix featuring Kanye is getting a ton of attention. Viewers are witnessing some previously unseen footage in this documentary that has been in the making for the past 20 years. Ahead of Act Three&#8217;s release on February 23, 2020, entrepreneur Dame Dash sat down to have a conversation with blogger The Jasmine Brand. He talked about how he never really thought that Ye will become such a big name.

“I think this is the right time for that,” Dame told the <a href="https://www.instagram.com/thejasminebrand/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=9cb2ccb8-66de-43ac-8e94-a5f70e48579a">Jasmine Brand.</a> “’Cause you get insight into who Kanye is, especially because he’s so public. He’s turned into our new Michael Jackson, you know, whether that’s negative or positive, but that just is what it is. I wasn’t expecting all that from Kanye.” He elaborated how the world today keeps an eye on Ye&#8217;s every single move and it triggers them.

Dame also shed light on the fact that how Kanye was one of those rappers who always had the potential and, more importantly, he listened to the advice given to him. &#8220;He just really took the opportunity, and he really listened. And what he did was he leveraged his celebrity very well,&#8221; said Dash.
