Fringe is one of the best science fiction TV series that we have ever watched on the screens. The American science-fiction TV series was created by J.J. Abrams, Roberto Orci, and Alex Kurtzman. The show made its debut on Fox back on September 9 2008 and received critical acclaim with its first season.
The show&#8217;s plot revolves around FBI agent Olivia Dunham, who is tasked with focusing on paranormal activities and mysterious events. She serves under the Fringe Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Though Agent Dunham is not alone in this mission of unraveling mysteries. She is accompanied by an institutionalized scientist named Walter Bishop and his strange yet highly intelligent son, Peter Bishop.
The hit sci-fi TV series focuses on The TV show has a total of 5 seasons spanning 100 episodes. It is starring Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson, John Noble, Jasika Nicole, Lance Reddick, Blair Brown, and many other talented names. Naturally, fans of the sci-fi genre are wondering whether the show is available to watch on Netflix.

The answer is unfortunately no. The beloved show was removed from the massive library of Netflix back in September 2016. So you should head to Amazon Prime Video as the platform offers all of them for its subscribers.

The show had an epic finale with season 5 episode 13. The story of the TV series was wrapped in five seasons and the questions were also answered. So there was no need for the show to continue. Moreover, we do know that the views started declining after the third season. It was only natural for Fringe to bid farewell to its fans.
Concepts like streaming and on-demand video access were not popular among the viewers as well. So it was pretty difficult for the cast and the crew of the series to adjust their budget. The president of the channel stated that Fringe was an expensive TV series. He also said that it was impossible for them to renew the series for another season at that rate. The show was not making any money after the fourth season.

Although there have been discussions about reviving the TV series, the cast and the crew are content with how the show ended. J.J. Abrams said in an interview that there would not be a reboot if Jeff Pinkner wasn&#8217;t there.
