Robert Pattinson and Zendaya have been busy lately promoting their upcoming film, The Drama, which releases on April 3, 2026. In the romantic drama, Zendaya and Pattinson play an engaged couple, Emma Harwood and Charlie Thompson, respectively. The trailer for the film, which showed Charlie and Emma in the days before their wedding and how a truth leads them to spiral out of their wits, was released by A24 in February 2026.

Now that the release date is just around the corner, they have been almost everywhere promoting the film. And during one such promotional appearance, Zendaya recently lauded Robert Pattinson's acting skills and his voice.

During their promotional run for The Drama, Zendaya and Robert Pattinson both appeared in a fun segment called In the Screening Room on the Letterboxd channel on YouTube. In the video, they talked about many things, like their favorite movies growing up and their favorite performances of each other. 

While talking about her favorite Robert Pattinson performance, Zendaya lavished her co-actor with heaps of praise for his acting versatility and his skill to use his voice to bring a sense of uniqueness to different characters.

"I am always impressed with your versatility and how you can just go there with anything and there's really nothing that you can't do," Zendaya told Pattinson.

According to her, these are the qualities about Pattinson as an actor that impress her the most. When she was asked to choose her favorite movie from Robert Pattinson’s filmography, she chose The Lighthouse, but quickly added that for her, it is very difficult to pick one because she loves so many of his performances.

After praising each other's works and performances, they both went on to talk about their latest movie and what people can expect from it. 

Without revealing much, Robert Pattinson and Zendaya teased some intense emotional moments, with a few jump scares here and there, and a lot of 'drama,' as the title suggests. They also talked about how unique the script is and how it will make audiences care about the characters and be personally invested in their journey.

The story never gives away any idea as to where it is headed, and it is kind of thrilling in that way. There is also some dark humor sprinkled throughout this unusual tale. They also teased the reactions of some of their friends who watched the film, and how differently they all reacted to the movie and its events.

From the trailer of the movie and the promotional material that has been coming up lately, the film looks like one hell of a ride and could well turn into a crowd-pleaser, thanks to the strong chemistry between its leads, evident in their playful interactions.
