The adaptation is written by Brian Tanen, known for Grand Hotel, Love, Victor, and Devious Maids.

The announced cast is still growing, but these stars are officially attached to the Hulu drama.

Nina Dobrev as Gwen - Best known for playing Elena Gilbert and Katherine Pierce in The Vampire Diaries, Dobrev recently starred in the Tribeca-premiering short General Admission and appeared in the action thriller The Get Out. In You Deserve to Know, she plays Gwen, one of the suburban neighbors whose life is turned upside down by a m***** investigation.

Paul Wesley as Scott - Wesley became a household name as Stefan Salvatore before expanding into projects including Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, where he portrays James T. Kirk, and The Buccaneers. He stars as Scott, a neighbor caught on the opposite side of the investigation, setting up an emotionally charged collision with Gwen.
