Hollywood’s old guard refuses to clock out as Martin Scorsese keeps directing epics, Robert De Niro shows up to set daily, and Al Pacino still commands every scene he enters. But while these legends continue to prove that age is hardly slowing them down, Pacino has also embraced a very different chapter of life.
At 84, the Scarface icon welcomed another child, and this milestone later became the subject of a hilarious exchange with fellow actor Jamie Foxx.
And Jamie Foxx recently shared a hilarious incident about this generational flex that left him equal parts impressed and bewildered.
Jamie Foxx recalls Al Pacino’s hilarious fatherhood confession
While promoting his Hulu comedy special Take Care of Yourself, Jamie Foxx revisited an encounter with Al Pacino that left him reassessing his own reservations about fatherhood. During an interaction with The Hollywood Reporter, the comedian recalled asking the veteran actor about his age after hearing about his latest child.
“I said, ‘Man, you’re gonna be 84 years old back in the drop-off line,’” Foxx joked, launching into an impression of his legendary colleague.

The interaction reportedly happened after Foxx’s serious 2023 medical emergency. Pacino greeted him warmly, expressing concern about his recovery before their conversation turned toward children. Foxx remembered Pacino announcing that he was having a baby and giving his age as 84.
For context, Pacino actually welcomed his fourth child, Roman, with Noor Alfallah in June 2023, when he was 83. Foxx then brought out his Pacino impression, recreating the actor’s response with a familiar line from The Godfather Part III.
“Every time I get out, they pull me back in.” The entire exchange left Foxx amused and surprisingly encouraged about becoming a father again.
And speaking of growing older, Foxx has made aging, survival, and personal reinvention central to his latest comedy comeback.

Filmed in Oakland, where he launched his comedy career, the performance combines personal reflection with his familiar celebrity impressions and observational humor. His daughter, Anelise also appears, showcasing her musical abilities. Foxx recently told The Hollywood Reporter that his material underwent considerable editing after the backlash surrounding Netflix’s Kevin Hart roast.
He felt audiences had become increasingly sensitive to certain jokes, prompting him to reconsider a segment involving Halle Berry and the realities of aging Hollywood icons.
