Fans may know Ryan Reynolds as the perfect Deadpool. But way before he could ever play that character, he wanted to play Flash once. Today, Ezra Miller is known to be the new face of the super speedy character. But in 2004, DC had faith in David S. Goyer, who chose Flash to be the next hero he writes about. Instead of Barry Allen, the character who is portrayed as Flash, he wanted his nephew Wally West to be the highlight.
