Avengers actor Wyatt Russell has given some positive news to Marvel fans about the Avengers: Doomsday movie, stating that they are pretty much done filming. “On June's Day, we have finished most of the filming, and all this stuff is done. It's looking awesome from what I've been able to glean. Haven't seen much, but I've seen some of the trailers and stuff,” he said, in a recent interview, as per Deadline. 

“I can tell you, Sebastian is amazing in it. I know David's going to be great in it. We worked a lot on set with everybody, and Florence being on set with them and all the other people that you get to be on. So I've had a blast, and I'm excited to be able to see it,” he added. 

For context, Russell is returning as John Walker in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday. He will take up his role as the decorated former soldier introduced in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, who eventually joined the team in Thunderbolts. Details of his involvement have been kept under wraps by Marvel, but Walker is expected to be part of the film's huge ensemble cast as Earth's heroes come together to face the impending threat of Doctor Doom.

Starting as a polarizing replacement for Captain America, Walker has matured into a more insightful and self-aware agent.
