Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday is generating a lot of buzz, and Wyatt Russell has weighed in on what fans can anticipate from the film’s star-studded cast. Careful not to give away any major plot points, he revealed that it is going to be so special for the fans. He also praised the performances of co-stars Sebastian Stan, Florence Pugh, and David Harbour.

Avengers actor Wyatt Russell has given some positive news to Marvel fans about the Avengers: Doomsday movie, stating that they are pretty much done filming. He also shared his excitement about the project and what he has seen so far. Details of the plot are still under wraps, but Russell singled out some of his co-stars for special praise. 

“On June's Day, we have finished most of the filming, and all this stuff is done. It's looking awesome from what I've been able to glean. Haven't seen much, but I've seen some of the trailers and stuff,” he said, in a recent interview, as per Deadline. 

“I can tell you, Sebastian is amazing in it. I know David's going to be great in it. We worked a lot on set with everybody, and Florence being on set with them and all the other people that you get to be on. So I've had a blast, and I'm excited to be able to see it,” he added. 

For context, Russell is returning as John Walker in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday. He will take up his role as the decorated former soldier introduced in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, who eventually joined the team in Thunderbolts. Details of his involvement have been kept under wraps by Marvel, but Walker is expected to be part of the film's huge ensemble cast as Earth's heroes come together to face the impending threat of Doctor Doom.

Starting as a polarizing replacement for Captain America, Walker has matured into a more insightful and self-aware agent. He is also set to bring a mix of combat experience and close relationships with one or more ex-Thunderbolts members to Avengers: Doomsday. Now, it remains to be seen how involved he is with the movie’s plot.
