Before Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings in with its MCU surprises this year, Wonder Man has been released for a refreshing break. And the eight-episode series is already quite a win, earning 89% critic rating on Rotten Tomatoes for its unique storyline. The first big cameo in the Wonder Man premiere is of Ashley Greene. The Twilight actress shows up as Simon Williams’ scene partner on American Horror Story. While Simon keeps asking deep character questions, Greene just calmly does her job and stays employed as he gets fired.

Josh Gad in Wonder Man

Josh Gad made a surprise appearance in episode 4 titled Doorman, Wonder Man, playing the role of himself. While singing 'In Summer' at a club, he accidentally sets it on fire, and that leads to him being saved by a guy who can phase through doors. Gad helps turn that guy, DeMarr Davis, into a celebrity hero and even hires him as a bodyguard, but things spiral, and he ends up trapped in another dimension.

Mario Lopez in Wonder Man

Mario Lopez makes an appearance in episode 4 of the series, Wonder Man. He also appears as himself in the show. And much like his fame and career, his character is shown to be the star host of the fictional show Hot Goss.

He is seen talking about the rise and fall of DeMarr Davis in the show. Now, apart from these three unique and hilarious cameos, there is another surprising cameo, perhaps one of the best in the series. And this cameo by the Risky Business actor was so great that he appeared twice in the show.

Joe Pantoliano in Wonder Man

The most recurring and funniest cameo in Wonder Man was by Joe Pantoliano. He appears as himself and has this petty history with Trevor Slattery. Slattery blames Pantoliano for stealing his spotlight. It is messy, bitter, and very Hollywood.

Later, Pantoliano gives Simon a smug, condescending pep talk that Simon brilliantly shuts down by roasting one of his movies. Now, these moments elevated the show. And Wonder Man clearly had a lot of fun showing Hollywood while wrapping up this season, and the cameos were a huge part of that fun.
