California is perhaps the home to many Hollywood celebrities, and a few British Royals as well. And recently, the US State saw its biggest estate purchase in Malibu. A $200 million mansion along the coast of Malibu is now home to the music industry’s biggest and seemingly one of the richest sensations, Beyoncé and Jay Z.

Even though Beyoncé is on her sold-out Renaissance World Tour until late September, it seems like she will be home in a grand estate. The architectural masterpiece is reportedly spread across 30, 000 square feet. And to own that beauty, they have paid a “king’s ransom.” According to TMZ, the couple broke the previous record of a $177 real estate purchase in California, buying the mansion for a hefty amount of $200,000,000. Furthermore, it is also the second most expensive property in the country.

Designed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando, the house sits on the Paradise Cove area, or Billionaire’s Row, as some might know, looking over the pacific ocean. Notably, Ando is also the mastermind behind Kanye West’s Malibu mansion. One must also note that this is not the only jewel the celebrity couple owns in Los Angeles. Beyonce and Jay Z’s Belle Air Mansion was also a purchase of $88 million and it now stands at the value of $100 million.
With such a huge purchase, even the lavish $15 million house of the ex-serving royals, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle looks insignificant. But they are not the only ones. Here’s a list of celebrities who own big mansions in the state of California.

Kim Kardashian’s sister, the self-made millionaire Kylie Jenner, also owns a $16 million property in the neighborhood.
